:: What can OIT do for me? - oit.osu.edu helps bring together information on the myriad of services offered by OIT and other areas under the Office of the CIO. A good first step when searching for available OIT services would be to access the Alpha Site Index. This index organizes links to available OIT services and resources so that you can get information and be on your way. Items with an asterisk are featured in the Information Technology Resources Guides.

:: BuckeyeBar Walk-Up Tech Support - The BuckeyeBar is located at the Thompson Memorial Library. The BuckeyeBar offers one-on-one technology consultation and problem solving. Faculty, students, and staff can stop by the BuckeyeBar to consult with staff who can help you connect to OSU's wireless network, diagnose a sluggish computer, address virus problems or answer questions about IT. And as always, the services are complimentary.

:: CommunITy Awareness - The IT Community newsletter is available from the Office of the CIO.

:: Reduce OSU Energy Requirements and Power Down for the Planet - The Office of the CIO and Facilities Operations and Development are sponsors of a movement to reduce OSU energy requirements. The primary goal is the reduction of power used by workstations and related OSU equipment by 30 percent within the next year. See details.
